Elimination Chamber falls at the perfect 'sweet spot' time where a Superstar can return to set-up a proper WrestleMania feud. One of the major Superstars missing from WWE TV for quite a while now is former NXT Champion Aleister Black.

Aleister Black has been off WWE TV since October 2020. There were speculations of there being tensions between Black and WWE management. However, reports have suggested that WWE is planning a massive re-debut of Aleister Black on SmackDown.

If those plans are indeed true, we might see the return of Aleister Black this Sunday at Elimination Chamber 2021. Rather than Aleister Black appearing physically, WWE might air a pre-recorded backstage promo of him at Elimination Chamber teasing a new or improved character.

Aleister Black can then properly return on SmackDown in the weeks after Elimination Chamber and set up a WrestleMania feud. Considering Universal Champion Roman Reigns would likely be feuding with Edge at WrestleMania, Black could enter the Intercontinental Championship scene and face Big E at WrestleMania 37 for his title.
