#4. WWE Superstar Jeff Hardy

WWE Superstar Jeff Hardy

Jeff Hardy has accomplished almost everything in WWE, but he has never won a match at SummerSlam.

Hardy competed six times at the Biggest Party of the Summer. His first match came in 1999 when he and his brother, Matt, lost a tag team turmoil to Edge and Christian. The Hardy Boyz lost again in the following year when they competed in a TLC triple-threat match for the Tag Team Titles.

In 2001, Jeff Hardy went into SummerSlam as the Hardcore Champion. However, he lost the title to his challenger Rob Van Dam in a ladder match. Seven years later, The Charismatic Enigma had his fourth match at SummerSlam but again suffered defeat against MVP.

The 2001 scenario came back to haunt Hardy when he defended his World Heavyweight Championship against CM Punk at SummerSlam in 2009. The 43-year-old walked in with the title and left without it.

The last time Hardy competed at SummerSlam was four years ago. He challenged Shinsuke Nakamura for the United States Championship but came up short.

Like Sheamus, the former WWE Champion competed once on the SummerSlam pre-show in 2017. He teamed up with Matt and Jason Jordan against The Miz and The Miztourage in a losing effort.
