#3. King Corbin - Added to the Elimination Chamber due to a lack of better options?

King Corbin has been a mainstay on SmackDown and has Elimination Chamber Experience. Corbin has also been involved in important programs, but for some reason, it's hard to see him move up the card.

Even ahead of the Elimination Chamber match, it's hard to see King Corbin as anything more than an upper mid-card Superstar. It's not a knock on him since most WWE Superstars have a fixed role, and that's how it plays out for most if not all of their careers.

King Corbin and Sami Zayn qualified for the Elimination Chamber match at Dominik and Rey Mysterio's expense. Seeing the father-son duo inside the Elimination Chamber would have made for a much more interesting story. However, we admittedly feel that Sami Zayn is deserving of his spot.

King Corbin, on the other hand, not so much. Rather than a tag team qualifier on SmackDown, it would have been better to have individual qualification matches, with Dominik Mysterio being a more exciting name than Corbin for The Elimination Chamber.
