It seems as though a match between Edge and Seth Rollins seems inevitable. During his incredible run in 2014-2015, Seth Rollins was compared to Edge for his masterful work as a heel WWE Champion.
A lot of his characteristics at the time resembled Edge and just like The Rated-R Superstar, he was almost always the best part of WWE programming. He would turn face in 2016 and have a three-year run before turning heel again in December 2019.
While his current character isn't close to his previous heel persona, he's still a significant superstar to WWE, which is why he's in the WWE title picture despite losing at WrestleMania 36.
It would be a great match stylistically as well. Rollins isn't expected to defeat Drew McIntyre at Money in the Bank 2020, so it would be perfect to set up a feud between the Hall of Famer and the future Hall of Famer.
In our view, there isn't a match for Edge that's more exciting than one with Seth Rollins. It would be the perfect "past vs present" match.
