The Beastslayer had defeated Brock Lesnar way back in 2015, by cashing in his Money In The Bank briefcase during the WWE World title match between Lesnar and Roman Reigns. Rollins pinned The Big Dog to win the top prize, and Lesnar lost the belt without even getting pinned. By the time 2019 arrived, Rollins had become a mega babyface and won the 2019 Royal Rumble match. He faced Lesnar at WrestleMania 35 and won the Universal title with the help of a low blow and three Curb Stomps.

Months later, Lesnar cashed in his MITB contract on Rollins to win back the belt. At SummerSlam 2019, Rollins faced Lesnar again. In the end, Rollins countered an F5 from Lesnar and hit the Curb Stomp seconds later to win the Universal title. The Beastslayer had finally beaten Lesnar without using any outside object, or by questionable means. Rollins carried his momentum forward and went on to defeat Braun Strowman a few weeks later. He is currently the top heel on RAW and dubs himself The Monday Night Messiah.

Given the opportunity to script WWE’s next big storyline, Abhilash would treat fans to the second installment of The Bloodline Civil War. He would book Roman Reigns to re-form The Bloodline with The Usos and Sami Zayn upon his comeback. The angle would see The Tribal Chief-led group go head-to-head with The Rock, Solo Sikoa, Tama Tonga, and Jacob Fatu in a blockbuster family feud.
