5 WWE Superstars who have wrestling siblings outside of WWE

You only have to switch on Raw or SmackDown Live every so often to find a WWE Superstar who has a sibling working within the company.

Whether it’s the Hardy Boyz, The Usos, The Colons, the Singh Brothers, the Bella Twins, the McMahons or, whisper it quietly, Bray Wyatt and Bo Dallas, multiple wrestling families are currently being represented on WWE programming.

However, did you know that several current WWE Superstars have siblings who wrestle outside of Vince McMahon’s company?

In this article, with an honourable mention to Alicia Fox (her sister no longer wrestles), we take a look at five of them.

#5 Ariya Daivari & Shawn Daivari

When 205 Live roster member Ariya Daivari debuted in WWE, you probably immediately thought of another WWE Superstar who simply went by the name Daivari.

Daivari, real name Shawn Daivari, was contracted to WWE between 2003 and 2007, facing the likes of Hulk Hogan, Shawn Michaels and John Cena as a performer and working alongside Muhammed Hassan, Kurt Angle and The Great Khali as a manager.

His most recent televised run in wrestling came in Lucha Underground, where he performed as DelAvar Daivari. In 2016, he opened The Academy: School of Professional Wrestling, a wrestling school in Minnesota, with former WWE Superstar Ken Anderson.

#4 Drew Gulak & Rory Gulak

Rory Gulak

Ever since the creation of 205 Live, Drew Gulak has been one of the most entertaining Superstars on the roster, inside and outside the squared circle, and he is bound to be Cruiserweight champion one day.

As you might have found out recently, he also has a wrestling brother, Rory Gulak, who was unfortunate enough to run into the destructive Bludgeon Brothers in a quick tag match on SmackDown Live in January 2018.

Rory and Drew crossed paths frequently during their time in CZW, working as a tag team as well as against each other, while Rory has recently competed in CHIKARA and Beyond Wrestling.

#3 Paige & Zak and Roy Bevis

Despite reports that Paige has been told she can no longer wrestle due to injuries, the former Divas champion continues to appear alongside her Absolution faction members on Raw and WWE is yet to publicly comment on her future.

Outside the ring, a film about Paige’s life will be released in September 2018, based on the ‘Fighting with My Family’ documentary that aired in 2012 which also featured the ups and downs of Zak Bevis, Paige’s brother, in his attempts to make it to WWE.

Zak appeared on an episode of SmackDown during a WWE European tour in 2011, losing to The Big Show in a 3-on-1 handicap match, but the majority of his matches take place in the United Kingdom.

Paige and Zak’s half-brother, Roy, made his wrestling debut in 1995 and has worked in various promotions around the world as Zebra Kid.

#2 Tino Sabbatelli & Sean Swag

Sean Swag
Sean Swag once appeared in NXT

For those who don’t watch NXT, Tino Sabbatelli is a former NFL player who debuted with the brand in 2015. He became tag partners with Riddick Moss in late 2016 and the two have started to feature regularly on NXT programming in recent months.

His younger brother, Sean, goes by the ring name of Sean Swag and wrestles on the independent scene.

Sean is a former Heavyweight champion for Florida-based promotion American Combat Wrestling, while he took part in an NXT squash match in June 2016 when he teamed with CJ O’Doyle in a losing effort against The Authors of Pain.

#1 The Rhodes Brothers

Cody

As obvious as it is, we couldn’t compile a list of WWE Superstars with wrestling siblings and not include Cody and Goldust, could we?

The Rhodes Brothers belong to one of the most famous wrestling families of all time and teamed together in WWE between 2013 and 2015, winning the Tag Team Championships on two occasions.

Since leaving WWE in 2016, Cody has featured in Impact Wrestling, Ring of Honor and NJPW, among other promotions, and has become one of the most high-profile non-WWE wrestlers as part of the increasingly popular Bullet Club.
