In the WWE, some superstars achieve great success very quickly while others spend years working for the company yet fail to make a name for themselves. These superstars continue working unhappily just because they do not have any other alternative and WWE is the biggest wrestling promotion in the world. But, in 2019, things have changed.

WWE as of late started pushing its unhappy superstars in order to make them content with their role in the company. The main reason behind this is the formation of All Elite Wrestling, the wrestling promotion started by Cody Rhodes and the Young Bucks.

Seeing the existence of AEW, The Revival and Maria & Mike Kanellis have reportedly requested their releases from WWE and the list may get longer if WWE does not do away with its old plan.

Here are the 5 superstars (apart from The Revival and Mike Kanellis) who may be unhappy with their on-screen role in the WWE:

#5 and #4 Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson

WWE should be pushing the Good Brothers instead of having the Miz and Shane McMahon fight for the SD Live tag team championships
WWE should be pushing the Good Brothers instead of having the Miz and Shane McMahon fight for the SD Live tag team championships

At the Royal Rumble PPV, the WWE Universe will see the team of The Miz and Shane McMahon challenging The Bar for the SD Live tag team championships. The challengers formed a team just 3 weeks ago and did not earn their opportunity to challenge for the titles still they are going to battle for the championships in front of a 40,000 strong Chase Field.

In my opinion, this decision would surely have hurt Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson as they have been criminally underused since the brand split and this was the best chance they had to fight for the titles. However, WWE did the unthinkable and booked the match they have booked for the Royal Rumble PPV.

The Good Brothers' contracts are ending soon and if things continue to be like this, then expect them to leave WWE and join AEW.

#3 Zack Ryder

Whenever the talk comes about the underutilized wrestlers, one name which comes to everyone's mind is Zack Ryder. The Long Island Ice Z is one of the most popular superstars amongst the WWE Universe yet he is still languishing in the undercard hardly making any TV appearances.

It's not that Ryder gets frequently injured or cannot wrestle well inside the ring, it's just the thing that WWE does not see him as a star and so, they are not pushing him. All the things that Ryder has achieved in the WWE are because of his extreme popularity among the fans but of late even that has not favored Ryder.

He still receives huge pops when he performs on WWE Main Event and so, Ryder might be thinking of ending his WWE career and joining All Elite Wrestling for a better future. But, as we all know Ryder has a ton of experience performing in the WWE and so, WWE should try to push him as a mid-carder once again and retain his services for the coming years.

#2 Sami Zayn

Sami Zayn failed to click as a heel on RAW last April

Sami Zayn turned heel last year to join forces with his real-life best friend Kevin Owens on SmackDown Live and the Canadian duo took Tuesday nights by storm with their performances. However, once they moved to RAW they were demoted from the main event level to the mid-card due to a stacked roster of the red brand.

It is being rumored that Owens and Zayn will make their returns soon and in my opinion, WWE should move both of them to the blue brand and turn them face. This will not only shake things up but will also pave Sami Zayn's way to the top. The former NXT Champion is yet to win a title on the main roster and somewhere in his mind, he knows this thing.

So, the WWE Creative may try to please the Canadian underdog by improving his position on TV and stop him from leaving WWE anytime soon.

#1 Andrade

WWE surprised the fans last Tuesday by cutting down Andrade Cien Almas' name to simply Andrade. The reason behind this change is currently unknown but the Mexican superstar had a fantastic match with Rey Mysterio under the name Andrade.

However, it is being reported that Andrade is currently unhappy with his position in the WWE. Though El Idolo has not asked for his release yet, he has stopped two of his comrades from joining the WWE saying it "it isn’t what it’s cracked up to be."

However, things may change soon as the WWE Creative has just changed his on-screen name and so El Idolo may be receiving a push next.
