Some wrestlers give their all to the fans. For their abilities, they also get rewarded. Rewards are in the form of Championships.

But some wrestlers are not that lucky. They get injured and have to relinquish their titles and do not get a rematch for that title again and get lost in the shuffle. We still see the examples of some wrestlers to till date haven't got a rematch for the title they never lost. Let us talk about five wrestlers who never got a rematch for their respective unlost titles:
#5 Daniel Bryan- WWE Intercontinental Championship
While the fans weren't happy about their hero didn't win the Royal Rumble 2015 after his return to his professional love after eight months(was won by Roman Reigns-start of the heat towards him) and again losing to Roman Reigns for the right to face Brock Lesnar(again a dream match fans are waiting for).
But thanks to Vince, Bryan was inserted in a ladder match for the Intercontinental Championship. The match consisted of Bad News Barrett(Champion), Dolph Ziggler, Stardust, Dean Ambrose, Luke Harper and R-Truth.
The match was won by Daniel Bryan which again felt like last year's WrestleMania as everyone was chanting 'Yes!' with the leader of Yes! Movement.
However, the celebrations didn't last long as he was forced to relinquish the title due to his injury and was later forced to retire before Elimination Chamber(later won by Ryback at the same event). And now, after three years Bryan was cleared to wrestle again, but still hasn't got the rightful rematch for the title he never lost.
#4 Edge- World Heavyweight Championship
Edge was one of the most popular babyfaces during 2011. He was the World Heavyweight Champion and represented SmackDown as the face of the show.
He was fired by Vickie Gurrero, but later again won the title from Dolph Ziggler(whom Vickie rewarded the title) the next week. Edge later defended the title at Elimination Chamber and Alberto Del Rio(Royal Rumble Winner) at WrestleMania 27.
But after finding out that that it would be difficult for him to wrestle further and he delivered an emotional speech on Raw about next directions of his career and the pro-wrestling reality. Later in the same week on SmackDown, Edge relinquished the title. The title was later won by Edge's longtime friend, Christian.
But on the same day of relinquishing his 11th World Title, he also retired from professional wrestling. Due to his retirement, Edge never got the rematch for his relinquished title.
#3 Asuka- NXT Women's Championship
Asuka was at the peak of her career during 2017 when she was undefeated. After defeating Bayley last year, Asuka became a complete beast.
She was unstoppable. She kept on wrecking everyone in her way including the likes of Bayley, Mickie James, The Iconic Duo(now IIconics), Nikki Cross, Ember Moon and Ruby Riot.
She also became the wrestler with the longest undefeated streak in WWE by surpassing Goldberg's winning streak, the longest reigning champion of the WWE modern era and longest champion in NXT History.
But while defending her title against Ember Moon at NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn III, she broke her right collarbone which injured herself for six-eight weeks.
Due to this injury, she was forced to relinquish her title and later she moved to the main roster for bigger and better things.
However, she never got her title rematch for the longest reigning champion in WWE in nearly 20 years with her reign of 510 days.
But one thing is for sure, she wouldn't go back to NXT and get a rematch for the NXT Women's Championship again.
#2 Finn Balor- WWE Universal Championship
Finn Balor already made a name for himself on the Independent Wrestling, under his real name Prince Devitt and forming one of the most dominant stables in wrestling: The Bullet Club.
In 2014, he joined NXT and in a year became NXT Champion and held the title for 294 days(the longest reigning NXT Champion till date). During the WWE Draft in 2016, Finn Balor became the seventh person and the first from NXT to get drafted to Raw.
He also did pay off as he was booked so strongly that he defeated Roman Reigns on his first day on Raw in his second match of the day.
He later went to become the first-ever Universal Champion by defeating Seth Rollins with his demon persona at SummerSlam 2016(in the same month he debuted).
But things later went downhill for him as he was forced to relinquish the title due to the shoulder injury he sustained during his match with Rollins.
He was sidelined for six months due to the injury and after returning lost all his credibility and momentum. Till now, after two years of relinquishing his title, he hasn't got the rematch for the title he never lost.
#1 Daniel Bryan- WWE World Heavyweight Championship
The Daniel Bryan Vs Authority storyline was one of the best underdog storylines WWE has ever produced. Becoming one of the most over babyfaces in 2013, Daniel Bryan got a WWE title opportunity against John Cena at SummerSlam 2013.
With Triple H as the referee, Bryan won in convincing fashion but was later stabbed in the back by Triple H who pedigreed him and allowed Randy Orton to cash in his Money in The Bank contract and win the championship.
Both Orton and Triple H turned heel and formed the Authority including Kane which never let Bryan win the championship.
But he started the Yes! movement which led him getting a match against Triple H at WrestleMania 30 which he won to get into the WWE World Heavyweight Championship match between Batista and Randy Orton.
He won the match fulfilling his dream and sent fans home happy with the historic moment.
But unfortunately, the moment was cut short by an injury that cost him his Championship and out of action for eight months.
He later won the Intercontinental Championship(talked about it earlier) but never got a match for the WWE Championship and was forced to retire again.
Later, he was cleared to wrestle before WrestleMania 34 and till now hasn't got the opportunity for the championship he never lost(WWE World Heavyweight Championship is now WWE Championship).
Let us see if he gets the opportunity to reclaim his title again.
