Back in 2003, Stephanie McMahon was forced to compete in a match against A-Train on an episode of SmackDown. As Vince McMahon and Sable watched from the announcers' area, A-Train destroyed Stephanie. As he was about to end things, The Undertaker ran out to make the save and got into a brawl with the villain.

Suddenly, The Big Show came out of nowhere and attacked The Deadman. The 2-on-1 beatdown was too much for Taker. After this, A-Train came back to the ring and finished things off.
At Survivor Series 2014, Team Cena defeated Team Authority after the legendary Sting made his shocking debut in WWE. Soon after, Seth Rollins and his band of villains cooked up a ploy to bring back The Authority, by threatening John Cena on an episode of Raw.

The Big Show forced Edge's head down on the MITB briefcase and Rollins threatened Cena that if he wouldn't bring back The Authority, Edge would eat a Curb Stomp. Cena didn't have a choice and agreed to Rollins' demands.
Rollins still decided to hit the Curb Stomp on Edge and Cena came in to make the save. The numbers game caught up with him, and the segment ended with The Authority coming back and Cena being put down in the middle of the ring.
