#2 Edge - 4 wins

The Rated-R Superstar Edge will perform at WWE Backlash for the first time in eleven years. His last appearance at this show had come way back in 2009 when he beat John Cena in a Last Man Standing Match for the WWE Championship. In 2005, he had beaten Chris Benoit at WWE Backlash in a match with the same stipulation.
Edge made his WWE Backlash debut in the year 2000, where he defended the tag team titles along with Christian. The iconic duo defeated D-Generation X members Road Dogg and X-Pac to retain the gold. Four years later, The Ultimate Opportunist pinned Kane in a one-on-one encounter, courtesy of a perfect spear.
Can Edge record his fifth win at WWE Backlash this year?
Edge will go head-to-head with arch-rival Randy Orton in a pure wrestling match at WWE Backlash 2020. Although the 11-time world champion had overcome a challenge from The Apex Predator at WrestleMania 36, the probability that he beats Orton again this Sunday is very low.
The Creative team has likely planned a trilogy for the two Superstars, and their grand finale at SummerSlam can only happen if Orton beats Edge at WWE Backlash.
