#2 Drew McIntyre and Dolph Ziggler

Once again, a pairing of two singles' stars didn't last too long.

As mentioned in the second slide, a big reason why both Ambrose and Rollins, as well as Ziggler and McIntyre, won the titles was that they were feuding together. It made sense at the time but in the long term, it hurt the division.

Having so many stars paired together in teams hurt the RAW tag team division once most of those teams disbanded. That left the red brand with the likes of the B Team and The Revival. Since McIntyre has been back in WWE, his only title triumph has been as a member of a tag team.

He later turned on Ziggler shortly after the duo lost the titles. While it did help Ziggler in his ongoing feud with Rollins, it hurt both the tag division and McIntyre. "The Scottish Psychopath" is so much better than being a random tag team champion, but he hasn't captured any gold other than those titles. But here we are weeks away from SummerSlam with another team that held gold on RAW in 2018 no longer aligned with each another.
