The next WWE Premium Live Event is Night of Champions 2025, emanating from Kingdom Arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Triple H and Co. have already started crafting the show's match card. The main attraction of the event would be its signature King and Queen of the Ring tournament final matches.
Sixteen WWE Superstars will compete in four Fatal Four-Way matches as part of the men's tournament. The winners will face off in the semifinals, followed by the final in Riyadh. Sami Zayn and Roxanne Perez have punched their tickets to the next round.
Interestingly, one participant in the Fatal Four-Way qualifier, which is set to take place next week on RAW, has yet to be revealed. A mystery entrant is expected to compete in the contest. In a shocking twist, Ron Killings (R-Truth) may emerge as the fourth star, locking horns with Bronson Reed, Rusev, and Sheamus.

To everyone’s shock, the 53-year-old may pull off the big win, defeating three of the most dominant superstars in WWE. He can then go on to reign supreme in the final of the King of the Ring Tournament and secure a title shot against John Cena at SummerSlam 2025.
Raising the stakes, Truth could put his career on the line against John Cena at The Biggest Party of the Summer. Given the duo's history, the potential angle would be a massive box office hit. That said, the angle proposed above is speculative, and nothing has been confirmed.
Was R-Truth’s WWE release a work?
Since R-Truth returned to WWE at the 2025 Money in the Bank, fans have been wondering whether his departure was real or a work. Discussing the situation on WrestleVotes Q&A on SportsKeeda WrestleBinge, WrestleVotes said that he didn't think Truth's exit was a work.
The wrestling insider also pointed out that Truth’s son and Cathy Kelley's reactions also indicated the 53-year-old's exit was legitimate.
"I'm under the belief that it was totally legitimate. Don't think they would've gone the lengths that they did. It involved other people, maybe not directly, but Carlito and Sarah Logan [were] also let go. I think that's probably a little beneath the company to involve a storyline into real-life stuff like that. His son was very adamant on Instagram after the press conference. Cathy Kelley deserves an Emmy if she was [sic] acting at the press conference," he said. [From 4:30 onwards]
It will be interesting to see what plans the Triple H-led creative team has for R-Truth in the coming months.
