The direction WWE will be heading with Kofi Kingston is pretty unclear. Daniel Bryan has already faced him. Aleister Black just joined, while other top stars like Nakamura and Kevin Owens are busy with other things. Randy Orton and Roman Reigns are two possible opponents for Kingston, with The Viper pinning him in their tag team match last week.

At the same time, there could easily be a twist in a direction that the WWE Universe is not expecting.

The WWE Champion is set to issue a SummerSlam challenge this Tuesday night on SmackDown, so we may see The Big Dog coming out to challenge him.

Kofi Kingston vs. Roman Reigns sounds like an intriguing rivalry. Reigns just finished his feud with Shane McMahon and Kingston finished his feud with Samoa Joe. With both guys looking for new opponents, WWE may set up a match between the two at the 'Biggest Party of the Summer'.

Looking at The Big Dog's SummerSlam record, this will once again put him in a big match at SummerSlam. Vince McMahon might love to put the title once again on Reigns, after his shortened reign with the Universal Championship due to leukemia.

Fans have started to get behind Reigns. He's getting better reactions than he used to, so it might be the right time to give him a shot at the title, and make him the face of the blue brand.
