Elias should have a big match at this year's WrestleMania

Elias and Cena have crossed paths several times in the past couple years, with Cena getting the upper hand each time.

The Drifter noted as much recently when he sent out a tweet listing off every time Cena has basically crashed his performances.

It appeared to be in response to the WWE.com poll listing dream opponents for Cena at this year's WrestleMania.

Since he wasn't included, Elias took it upon himself to remind everyone of the history between himself and Cena.

A lot of times, social media positing is a precursor to future matches between superstars. WWE is strict about what it allows its superstars to post on social media, so perhaps this might be one of WWE's back up plans for Cena at WrestleMania should Lars Sullivan continue to remain out of contact with officials.

Elias would also make sense as a challenger for Bobby Lashley in an Intercontinental title match. The two have feuded on and off for the better part of the last year, so either feud would set the Drifter up for a big match in a few months.
