#4 Sami Zayn from WWE SmackDown (17 losses)
As a prominent figure on SmackDown, Sami Zayn's record in WWE this year is quite shocking. He has lost 85% of his matches in 2021, including a few bouts over the Intercontinental Championship. One can see why The Great Liberator has been claiming there is a conspiracy against him within WWE.
Zayn has won three matches all year, with only one singles victory. That came a week ago at Hell in a Cell where he defeated his eternal frenemy, Kevin Owens. This came after KO defeated him at WrestleMania. However, it is not such a bad thing.

Sami Zayn's character work remains among the best in WWE, with every defeat adding more to it. He is one of the few stars who is enhanced every time he loses. That truly is the mark of a great performer.
#3 Elias from WWE RAW (18 losses)
If he's not careful, Elias could be sitting atop this list in a couple of weeks. This year has not been his greatest, with the highlight being a RAW Tag Team Championship match alongside Jaxson Ryker against AJ Styles and Omos.
He is now feuding with the former Forgotten Son and has lost twice against him, both by countout. Elias will likely suffer another defeat to Ryker during their Strap Match on RAW.
WWE's resident guitarist has also appeared on quite a few pay-per-views this year. He was squashed by Braun Strowman at Fastlane and interfered in his Steel Cage Match against Shane McMahon at WrestleMania.
