The Revival have been very vocal about joining AEW. Posing with fans with AEW shirts on, being unhappy with the creative direction and also rumored to have actually asked for their releases. According to Fightful, Their WWE contracts expire sometime in April 2020.
They lost the WWE Raw Tag Team Championship to The Major Brothers. Sure, Tyler Hawkins ended his losing streak but at the expense of The Revival. It can be argued that they are being punished for hinting to go to AEW but that would be mere speculation.
The Young Bucks have been vocal about wanting to wrestle the acclaimed WWE tag team. They have even hinted at it in the past on Being The Elite. The Young Bucks have also been clear that they want tag team wrestling to main-event PPVs and not be regulated to pre-shows. I guess we will know in a year where The Revival stand.
