7 WWE Women Superstars’ mugshots that you might not have seen before

Emma is one of
several
female Superstars with a mugshot

There are a lot of WWE Superstars that have had run-ins with the law. Sometimes, it can cause real issues with their careers, resulting in dropped pushes and sometimes even leading to suspensions or releases.

The problem with the dirt-sheet culture nowadays is that you are more in the public eye than ever before and sooner than later, your mugshot from that fateful night will end up online, and every little detail of what happened will be documented.

Sometimes though, it can be a result of being out of the spotlight, and following the release from WWE, a wrestler’s life can take a dodgy turn.

I think this will become less likely as the Superstars are now much more looked after than they used to be. The need to dull the pain with alcohol and painkillers is long gone, and it should result in fewer incidents following the retirement of the current crop of WWE Superstars.

Whether it be a D.U.I, drug possession or even assault, nothing is secret when it comes to being arrested and detained. More famous mugshots include Roman Reigns, Kurt Angle and Matt Hardy.

However, it’s not just the male roster that has been in trouble with the law. The female Superstars, past and present, of WWE have also had their mugshots plastered all over the Internet.

This article will explore 7 mugshots you may not have seen before as well as the story behind them.

#7 Lita

Lita’s mugshot

Luckily, this was not to do with alcohol or drugs or even violence. Lita, the former 4-time WWE Women’s Champion, was arrested in 2011 for driving with a suspended license and speeding. Her bail was set at $2,200.

It was nothing too serious, and it all seems to have ironed itself out.

Luckily, the former Diva has not let this hold her back, and she was frequently featured on WWE programming throughout 2016 and made her in-ring return on the independent scene in March of 2017.

#6 Jillian Hall

Jillian’s first run in with the law

Former WWE Diva Jillian Hall has two mugshots floating around the Internet. A forgettable one-time Divas Champion, one might argue that she’s more famous for her actions outside the ring than she is for those inside.

On April 23rd, 2012, Jillian was arrested in Orange County, Florida and charged with battery. Jailbase.com uploaded the mugshot to the Internet; and naturally, people were very quick to comment on her appearance and lack of makeup.

Jillian responded to the people commenting on her appearance with the following statement, "Hmmm, so people r suppose to look good when they've been crying for hours? No one knows my story... No one!!"

It was later confirmed that Jillian had split from her husband.

A lot more photogenic in mugshot number 2

This wasn’t the only time she was arrested though, and the second time was April 10th 2015 as she was arrested for a DUI. According to the reports, Jillian was released on $500 bond, and at the time of her detention, her blood alcohol level was higher than 0.20.

I hope that she has managed to get a hold of her personal life and I would hope we don’t see any more mugshots of the former WWE Diva.

#5 Kaitlyn

I’ve had worse passport photos

Kaitlyn was arrested back in 2012 for an outstanding speeding ticket. The former Diva was arrested in public, however, making it a little more newsworthy than it would have been. TMZ.com reported the full details:

“It all went down at the Van Andel Arena ... sources tell us the 26-year-old was taken into custody by the Kent County Sheriff stemming from an old speeding ticket.
We’re told shortly after she arrived at the arena, police showed up with a warrant ... she was hauled to a nearby police station where she was booked and took a pretty impressive mugshot.”

Kaitlyn was released on a $315 bond, and she later released a statement to TMZ who first reported the story, “During a previous visit to Michigan, I was cited for a traffic violation. I am fully cooperating with authorities to resolve the matter.”

I am glad this was nothing more than what seems like an oversight. I can’t see Kaitlyn getting in trouble with the law in the future. She is now exploring other ventures, following her departure from wrestling.

#4 Charlotte

I wouldn’t have the guts to smile in a mugshot

The Queen had her own run-in with the law, in 2008, when she was charged with assaulting a police officer. The story goes that Charlotte, her ex-partner Riki Johnson and Ric Flair got into a scuffle and the neighbours ended up phoning the police.

Charlotte was sentenced to 45 days in prison but managed to avoid serving time as it was reduced to supervised probation and a $200 fine.

Since the arrest, Charlotte has become the hottest female property in WWE, having won the NXT Women’s Championship and also the Raw Women’s Championship a record 4 times. Now she is looking to dominate SmackDown having been transferred there in the Superstar Shakeup!

#3 Emma

Those darn self-checkouts

Emma has just made her return to WWE television, but there was a time in 2014 where we thought that we’d seen the end of Emma forever. She was accused of stealing an iPad case and detained by police. As initially reported by TMZ, it was chalked up to an innocent mistake as she was trying to navigate the self-checkout.

Now from my own experience, I know these things can be annoying. They scan, then they don’t scan, then things don’t add up in the scales resulting in you having to click through all sorts of buttons before crying in a corner asking for help. So, I can sympathise here.

Emma was actually released from the company when they found out the news but was reinstated a day later after WWE realised that no-one would risk their career for a 22 dollar iPad case and it probably was the innocent mistake it was reported to be.

Luckily, we still have Emma on our screens. She is an incredible talent and is likely to be a big part of the WWE Raw Women’s division.

#2 Cameron

A face with an attitude

Cameron, who got her big break from being a part of the revived Tough Enough, was arrested during her time with WWE. She later became popular as part of Tons of Funk with current WWE Champion Naomi.

However, in 2012, TMZ reported that Cameron had been arrested for DUI and then tried to bribe the officers!

“TMZ obtained the arrest report filed by police in Tampa Bay, Florida ... which shows Cameron -- real name Ariane Nicole Andrew -- was arrested at 2:23 AM on Friday morning outside Tampa International Airport.

The report says Cameron blew a .20 ... more than twice the legal limit in Florida. After the cops had taken her into custody, the report says Cameron offered one of the officers $10,000 to, "let her go because she would lose her job."

I don’t think things would have been half as bad if Cameron had not tried to bribe officers of the law. What made things even worse is the fact she did not report this to the WWE, and they had to find out when it was leaked on the internet.

I’m not really surprised she didn’t last long in WWE as a singles star. She had limited wrestling skills, and this certainly won’t have helped her case and probably hung over her like a dark cloud.

#1 Sunny

A tragic tale of the former Diva

Generally known as the first WWE Diva, Sunny has not taken life after the WWE well at all. She has She has been arrested on multiple occasions, resulting in many mugshots surfacing on the Internet.

It is quite the story. In 2012, Sunny was arrested five times in a four-week span. The counts included disorderly conduct, third-degree burglary, and three counts of violating a protective order.

As if this was not enough, she was then arrested a sixth time in January 2013, for violating a protective order (because the first three times the message didn’t get through…) Due to this sixth arrest, Sunny was convicted and served 114 days in jail! She was released in May 2013, but this was not the end of her issues.

One would hope Sunny can get back on her feet and sort her life out

In 2015, she was arrested three times for driving under the influence. She did spend 97 days in rehab, and this counted towards another 90-day jail sentence that she had picked up.

PWInsider reported that Sunny was then arrested for violating parole no more than eighteen days into her probation. A list of the charges included (take a long breath) receiving stolen property, driving without a license, driving an unregistered vehicle, operating a vehicle without required financial responsibility, displaying plate card in improper vehicle, fraudulent use or removal of registered license plates, operating a vehicle without valid inspection and driving without evidence of an emission inspection.

Another one...

Sunny ended up being fined $1496.45 for the charges, following the withdrawal of the charges for receiving stolen property and a charge of fraudulent use or removal of registered license plates.

Sunny would return to rehab to avoid more jail time and has since had no more incidents.
