This year's Survivor Series could be full of shocks and surprises
This year's Survivor Series could be full of shocks and surprises

#5. The winner of the dual-brand battle royal is handed a Championship shot

The dual-brand battle royal has been added to the show at Survivor Series because there was an even number of matches and the pay-per-view could have ended in a draw. At present no names have been announced for the match that will be on the Kickoff Show, but it's nice to see that battle royals can make their return to WWE TV.

At present, there is a lot of congestion in the Championship title pictures, but it could be that the winner from the dual-brand battle royal is handed a Championship shot at next month's TLC event. This could give someone like Ricochet or even Aleister Black on SmackDown a chance to climb back into focus following Survivor Series.

#4. The Miz teases another Money in the Bank cash-in at Survivor Series

The Miz was able to take the Money in the Bank briefcase from Otis back at Hell in a Cell after he bribed 'judge' JBL into making the match about the contract for a shot at the World Championship.

Whilst there are reportedly no plans for The Miz to cash in his contract anytime soon, nothing is stopping The A-Lister from teasing a cash-in after the main event at Survivor Series.

Roman Reigns and Drew McIntyre are preparing to go to war and if it's Reigns who comes out on top then McIntyre would be ripe for The Miz to run in and cash-in his contract. Even a tease from The Miz would definitely be needed since Mr. Money in the Bank isn't even on the card at Survivor Series.
