Bray managed to get a football scholarship and transferred from College of the Sequoias to Troy University where he majored in Broadcast Journalism.
He left Troy with only 27 credits left to earn his Bachelor's degree in hopes of becoming a professional wrestler and making it big in the industry.
Since he was studying for Broadcast Journalism, it seems like the training and the education has helped his wrestling career since it has moulded him into one of the best promo cutters on television today. This is one of the main reasons for his faction The Wyatt Family and then his tag team with Matt Hardy which was known as The Deleter of Worlds.
It's no surprise that someone as talented as Bray is on the microphone would look into television broadcasting as a profession.
