Mustafa Ali and Buddy Murphy have been the two premier players on 205 Live this year, so it was somewhat surprising to see them finally clash in a Cruiserweight Championship match at Survivor Series when ideally, this should be the purple brand's WrestleMania match.
So how this match is treated will tell us where 205 Live is going as far as next April is concerned. Buddy Murphy is unlikely to lose his title, so how will Mustapha Ali be treated in defeat? Will he come close, signalling a potential rematch down the line, or will this be a one and done deal?
#6 The Usos
The Usos have meandered since dropping their titles at WrestleMania 34. Now would be the ideal time to start rebuilding them. A feud with The Bar would be novel and present us with many potential high-quality matches.
If they're to become tag team contenders in the immediate future, they need to do well tonight. An early elimination with no fanfare would tell us that WWE doesn't have major plans for The Usos, which would be a big mistake.
