#1 A star is born at WrestleMania

The road to WrestleMania began with the Royal Rumble. In the Women's Royal Rumble this year, both young upstarts Rhea Ripley and Bianca Belair eliminated the previous year's winner Charlotte Flair.
They were the final two and Ripley turned out to be the runner-up at the Royal Rumble 2021. This is a similar situation to John Cena and Batista in 2005 where the latter won the Royal Rumble and the former was the runner-up.
Both men still ended up winning the WWE and World Heavyweight Titles respectively. It's neat to see a similar situation happen with the women. The only problem was the overall lack of build to the RAW Women's Title match at WrestleMania, but that seems to be more out of circumstance than anything.
Asuka reigned supreme for 231 days. Except for a brief month-long reign from Sasha Banks, the Empress of Tomorrow has dominated the RAW Women's division for 11 months now.
While Asuka deserved her WrestleMania moment, this was officially the changing of the guard, and it was WWE indicating that a new era of women is set to take over.
