This time when Reigns came back on the roster, he wasn’t pushed through the ranks immediately, Instead, WWE took their time to slowly build his character which has reflected well in his improved in-ring personality.

After having him team up with Daniel Bryan, the WWE Creative slowly pushed him towards a solo run who is a leader, and not just an equal partner. This has been evident in his matches at Crown Jewel and Survivor Series where he led his teams to victory.
Both the locker room and the fans have started to look at him as the leader of the Blue brand. And those who don’t agree are still backing him to take back the reigns from a certain 'King'.

Baron Corbin is excellent at playing his character and has a unique way of getting under the skin of anyone he wishes to provoke.
Therefore, booking Reigns in a feud with Corbin is the best way to get him over with the crowd before he is finally pushed into the title picture. For now, he is expected to continue his rivalry with King Corbin that might lead to a brutal match between the two at TLC.
