A fight between the two behemoths was teased, but nothing came of it. The match remained a pipe dream and it doesn't look like we will ever get to see these two monsters go at it.
Back when Batista was in OVW, he was known as Leviathan. Mere months before making their way to the main roster, Lesnar and Leviathan teamed up on WWE Live and defeated the makeshift duo of Shelton Benjamin and Randy Orton.
After WrestleMania 18, all four of these competitors went on to make their debuts on the main roster in a span of two months. Benjamin made a name for himself as the best pure athlete of the time, while the other three Superstars ended up becoming larger than life characters in WWE.

He would book Roman Reigns to re-form The Bloodline with The Usos and Sami Zayn upon his comeback.
