WWE Monday Night RAW's ratings have unfortunately declined since the show's premiere on Netflix earlier this year. The red brand has reached its lowest worldwide viewership since its debut on the streaming service. When the program switched platforms, it was expected to draw huge numbers. However, six months down the line, things don't look as promising as they should.
According to Netflix Tudum's website, the episode of RAW on May 26, 2025, drew 2.6 million viewers across the seven-day calculation window from May 26 to June 1. Many fans feel the Triple H-led WWE creative team has failed to produce an entertaining product.
Seth Rollins is also being blamed for RAW's dismal ratings despite his massive heel turn and alliance with Paul Heyman. The situation is such that only one superstar can arguably bring things on track on RAW. He's The Beast Incarnate, Brock Lesnar.
Brock Lesnar can save RAW's collapsing ratings on Netflix
Brock Lesnar might have been named in Janel Grant's lawsuit against WWE and Vince McMahon, but he is still a huge draw for the company. He is perhaps one of the biggest assets of the Stamford-based promotion. If, somehow, Lesnar gets cleared by the legal team of WWE, things might change for good on RAW. His sole presence on the show can improve its viewership, bringing things back on track.
Brock Lesnar's feud with Gunther can boost RAW ratings
One feud that can skyrocket RAW's ratings is Brock Lesnar vs. Gunther. There were rumors that the two would lock horns at WrestleMania 40, but the Janel Grant controversy seemingly never allowed the feud to take place. The two had a mini-confrontation at Royal Rumble 2023, and since then, fans have been excited to witness a match between the two.
WWE Hall of Famer The Undertaker also believes that Gunther vs. Lesnar would help the Austrian star, as The Beast is known for pushing his opponents to do their best.
"It would propel Gunther to even another level to work a program with Brock. The heights that I think Brock could bring him to would make him untouchable," The Undertaker said on his Seven Feet Under podcast. [H/T: TJR Wrestling]
Brock Lesnar allegedly commented on his WWE return
Although The Beast has been seen in public on quite a few occasions in the past two years, he has primarily been silent on any impending return to the company. However, he allegedly spoke about it two months ago.
According to Ringside News, Lesnar was seen at a steakhouse in Austin, Texas, in March, and one of the correspondents reached out to him for his comments on a potential WWE return. As per the report, the veteran gave a vague reply, saying, 'We'll see.'
There have also been rumors that Lesnar's in-ring career might be over, and he might not be seen on TV again. However, nothing has been officially announced so far. As things look gloomy for RAW, it remains to be seen when, or if, Brock Lesnar will return and once again entertain fans.
