WWE is currently going through an interesting phase. The next premium live event is the 2025 Night of Champions, set to take place in Saudi Arabia. Tonight’s edition of Monday Night RAW will kick things off for the upcoming event. Things are bound to get chaotic, especially after what unfolded at Money in the Bank.
RAW General Manager Adam Pearce will have an exceptionally full night ahead, with a lot that could happen, and Pearce could even make some announcements with future implications.
In this article, we examine four potential announcements that the red brand's GM Adam Pearce could make on Monday Night RAW and turn things interesting.
#4. CM Punk injured
The Best in the World has been engaged in a feud with Seth Rollins ever since he returned to WWE, and their bad blood has been growing with each passing week. Lately, CM Punk has been engaged in trying to derail the terror of Rollins and his new heel faction.
The last time Punk was in action was at the 39th Saturday Night’s Main Event, where he competed in a tag team match against Seth Rollins and Bron Breakker alongside Sami Zayn. Things turned messy when Bronson Reed returned as the newest member of Rollins’ heel crew and annihilated Punk and Rollins.
Punk has been absent since then. Adam Pearce could shockingly announce that The Second City Saint sustained injuries due to the attack by Reed and will be out of action indefinitely. This could result in him being written off television till WWE Night of Champions, amid his old controversy.
There were conflicting reports about Punk's appearance in the Saudi Arabian event, with many taking note of his previous comments about the same. The issue doesn't seem to have been swept under as he was first advertised in the promo for Night of Champions and then pulled out.
#3. GM could ban Seth Rollins from the arena during Jey vs. Gunther
Jey Uso is a true workhorse champion as he has been competing in back-to-back matches. The Yeet Master will be defending his World Heavyweight Championship against long-standing rival Gunther on tonight’s RAW.
The match will surely be a war and a back-and-forth affair as both superstars are equally well-rounded. However, Uso and Gunther know their bout might end in a mess, as Seth Rollins and his crew could hijack the contest anytime.
To avoid such a situation, Adam Pearce could ban Seth Rollins from the ringside for Jey Uso vs. Gunther despite him being the Mr. Money in the Bank, ensuring the stars get their closure in the ring.
#2. Adam Pearce could announce Goldberg's WWE return
Last year, Da Man announced he would be competing in his final WWE match this year, and with the 2025 Night of Champions fast approaching, Goldberg’s return might be on the horizon. The former Universal Champion is one of the legends that Saudi Arabia prefers to host.
Goldberg’s last match was against Roman Reigns at the 2022 Elimination Chamber in Saudi Arabia. Adam Pearce could finally announce the return of the WCW legend just like Nikki Bella was announced at Money in the Bank.
#1. Becky Lynch vs. Lyra Valkyria III
Becky Lynch and Lyra Valkyria have been engaged in a heated rivalry since the RAW after WrestleMania 41. The latest twist unfolded at the 2025 Money in the Bank Premium Live Event, when The Man pulled off the shocker as she rolled up Lyra and won the Women’s IC Championship.
Though that wasn’t the end of hostilities between the two as Valkyria suplexed Lynch after the veteran kept on disrespecting her. Adam Pearce could announce the third and final bout between these two at WWE Night of Champions 2025 on this week's edition of Monday Night RAW.
