AEW will crown their first World Champion this Saturday night, and it's a big deal for any promotion when they crown their first World Champion.

Since the title will be the top prize in the promotion, it's only fitting that the first person to hold it is someone worthy. Hangman Page will face the Ayatollah of Rock 'n' Rolla Chris Jericho and one of them will walk out with the gold.

But who should it be? AEW's biggest star is none other than Chris Jericho. Y2J is known all over the world for his time in WWE where he accomplished what many would only dream of. He was the first Undisputed WWE Champion, he's a former Intercontinental, United States, WWE Tag Team and World Tag Team Champion. His accomplishments speak for themselves.

Thus, he's the only worthy option to become the first-ever AEW World Champion. He will make the title prestigious and it will become the top prize that it's meant to be. Hangman Page, unfortunately, hasn't been booked to look like a threat or a worthy challenger. So if he wins the title, it will come as a surprise and it'll be a mistake that AEW will wish they could rectify.
