Chris Jericho and Jon Moxley are both leading figures in AEW!
Chris Jericho and Jon Moxley are both leading figures in AEW!

Welcome to the preview for this week's episode of AEW Dynamite.

AEW is set for the next episode of their weekly programming as they look to continue the feuds that they have built up over the past few weeks. Following their extremely successful pay-per-view of AEW: Full Gear, All Elite Wrestling will be building towards the end of the year.

While Full Gear was an extremely successful event, it seems that instead of bringing feuds to their conclusions, they have resulted only in worsening some of them.

The team of SoCal Uncensored are the current reigning and defending Tag Team Champions, and on this week's episode of AEW Dynamite, they might very well find their next challenger with a critical match set to air.

Jon Moxley will be taking on a young up-and-coming Superstar in a match that might very well create some records as well. A Battle Royal, and a singles match between two amazing competitors we are used to seeing in tag team matches, also make this show must-see.

What remains the most intriguing question, however, is what exactly does Chris Jericho mean to announce on the show?

Without any further ado, let's take a look at everything waiting for us on the show!

#5 Dynamite Dozen Battle Royal

AEW has a dynamic roster
AEW has a dynamic roster

All Elite Wrestling pride themselves on having a large and diverse roster, full of Superstars from all sorts of backgrounds, with different wrestling styles.

They have showcased what their Superstars are capable of before on their weekly shows, but often, there are some wrestlers who do not make the cut on a weekly basis.

On this week's edition of AEW Dynamite, they will be hosting a Dynamite Dozen Battle Royal, with 12 Superstars competing against each other in a traditional over-the-top-rope Battle Royal. The winner is set to receive a spectacular AEW Diamond Ring.

While it has not been specified, nor is it clear at the moment, the ring could have a special significance, with the winner getting an eventual title shot in the future.

Time will determine if this is true or mere speculation.

#4 Rey Fenix vs Nick Jackson

Fenix is one half of the Lucha Brothers, a tag team which has been at the forefront of AEW since their very first event. While Pentagon is not advertised to compete at this event, Fenix will be taking on Nick Jackson.

Nick Jackson is not often seen without his brother, but this week, The Young Bucks might not have an option. Last week, Proud 'n' Powerful viciously assaulted The Bucks and put Matt Jackson through the ramp-side area. With Matt being injured now, it is up to Nick Jackson to compete. He will face Fenix but will have to be aware that Proud 'n' Powerful's Santana and Ortiz might look to finish the job by attacking him as well.

On the other hand, they might be a bit too busy...

#3 Proud 'n' Powerful vs Private Party

Private Party managed to gain a position where they could challenge for the AEW Tag Team Championships and for a while, it looked as if they were going to be successful at Full Gear. Unfortunately, they were defeated and SoCal Uncensored kept their titles.

Now, a win against The Inner Circle members Proud 'n' Powerful would certainly put them back in peak position to challenge for the title. However, Proud 'n' Powerful are no pushovers.

Santana and Ortiz showed their destructive intent by doing what they did to Matt Jackson last week. A win against Private Party might push them towards a match against the AEW Tag Team Champions as well! However, going by the video below, they may just want to face The Young Bucks again to prove that they truly are the Best Tag Team in the world.

#2 Jon Moxley vs Darby Allin

Jon Moxley took part in an extremely brutal match at AEW: Full Gear when he faced Kenny Omega. That rivalry might not quite be over yet, with the two wrestlers yet to come face-to-face after Moxley was able to win.

However, Moxley is ready to move on. He announced that he was throwing an open challenge to anyone in the back who wanted to face him. He did not have to wait too long to answer, as moments later, after winning a Triple Threat match, Darby Allin answered his challenge.

The two are set to face each other in what could be the beginning of a brutal feud on this week's episode of AEW Dynamite.

#1 Chris Jericho to make an announcement

Chris Jericho is set to make an announcement and what he has to say is anyone's best guess at the moment. The AEW World Champion is known for pushing the envelope.

After his exchange with MJF last week, however, the question on everyone's mind is simply — "Will MJF be joing Chris Jericho's Inner Circle faction?"

That might be exactly what Jericho has to say. MJF joining the faction would make it quite easily the most powerful force in AEW at the moment. On the other hand, it could as easily have something to do with the fact that Scorpio Sky just beat him.

Tune in tomorrow to AEW to find out if that's what is happening.
