Jake Hager vs Chico Adams
Jake Hager of The Inner Circle was in action against Chico Adams. Sammy Guevara wasn't at ringside for the match as he was busy getting ready for his own match later in the night.
Hager dominated the match from the moment the bell rang, planting Chico Adams with a massive suplex. Chico briefly caught Hager with a strike but that was about all the offense that he got in.
Hager then planted Chico Adams with an Uranage Slam and didn't let go, choking out Chico Adams for the win.

AEW World Champion Jon Moxley was out after the match with his title. He took out Hager with the Paradigm Shift, forcing him to back off and make his way out of the arena.
Moxley gave an interview backstage after the match. He said he'd warned Hager to watch his blindspot before adding that he's been declared to be 100% fit. Moxley warned that when he and Hager finally met inside the ring, things would not end well for the latter.
