This week's episode of AEW Dynamite took place on the Chris Jericho Rock and Wrestling Rager at Sea. The biggest match on tonight's episode was the showdown between Jon Moxley and PAC to determine the next challenger for Chris Jericho's AEW World Championship. We also had Scorpio Sky and Kazarian defend the AEW Tag-Team titles against Hangman Page and Kenny Omega.
Kenny Omega and Hangman Page vs SCU (for the AEW Tag-Team Championships)
This week's episode kicked off with a big tag-team match between SCU and the team of Kenny Omega and Hangman Page. Most of this match was pretty even as the two teams went back and forth. Omega and Page worked pretty well together despite the overarching storyline going in was about how Page was falling out with The Elite.
Page leapt off the top rope at one point in the match, taking out Kazarian as Omega hit Scorpio Sky with a sitout powerbomb in the center of the ring. Omega went to follow it up with his patented One-Winged Angel but Sky countered it and then followed up with a hurricanrana. Hangman Page came in at thing point and accidentally hit Kenny Omega with the Buckshot Lariat after Sky sidestepped him.
The match continued during the ad break where Adam Page took back control of the match for his team. He picked up a 2-count after trying to pin Kazarian following a clothesline. He followed it with a Fallaway Slam from the middle rope.
Omega looked like he had Kazarian where he wanted him for a second but SCU hit him with the SCU-later, only for Hangman Page to break up the pin at the last second. Page followed this with a Buckshot Lariat to Scorpio Sky on the entrance ramp and then a second one to Kazarian in the middle of the ring. Page then pinned Kazarian to win the tag titles for his team.

Dr. Britt Baker vs Priscilla Kelly
Priscilla Kelly made her AEW Dynamite debut on this week's episode, with her only other appearance coming during the Casino Battle Royale ahead of All Out. Despite Baker being the favorite, Priscilla Kelly started off stronger. She worked Baker in the corner and then against the middle rope.
Baker hit back with a running knee to the corner, followed up by a Slingblade. Kelly replied with a takedown and went to follow it up with a knee. Baker caught Kelly with a thrust kick and followed it up with a Russian Leg Sweep. Baker wasted no time after that and immediately locked in the Lockjaw. Kelly almost made it to the rope but Baker used the bottom rope to roll Kelly into the middle of the ring, finally forcing her to tap out.

Tony Schiavone went down to the ring to interview Britt Baker after this and Baker clearly showed that she was ready to turn heel. She told Schiavone that he was doing so well in AEW after working "as a Barista" at Starbucks before this.
Jurassic Express vs Chris Jericho, Santana, and Ortiz
The early part of the match saw Jungle Boy isolated by the heels in their corner. Ortiz had the referee distracted at one point as Jake Hager laid in on Jungle Boy from his position at ringside. The heels traded tags as they continued wearing him down.
Jericho came in as the legal man after this and positioned Jungle Boy on the middle turnbuckle. He went to superplex Jungle Boy who revered it and hit a reverse suplex, planting Jericho on his face. The champ quickly tagged out. Santana and Ortiz came in but Jungle Boy still managed to tag Luchasaurus.
Luchasaurus cleared the ring and tagged in Marko Stunt, before turning his attention to Jake Hager. Marko hit Jericho with a 450 Splash and got a 2-count. Stunt tried to roll Jericho up after this but the champ managed to kick out. Stunt's momentum didn't last for very long as Jericho hit him with the Judas Effect and pinned him, pulling off the win for his team.

Joey Janela vs MJF
AEW's Joey Janela was on top during the early stages of the match. He floored MJF early and headed to the top rope, forcing MJF to roll away. MJF then used the referee to shield himself from Janela, then caught Janela with a forearm after the ref was out of the way.
Janela hit back and headed to the top rope when we saw Kip Sabian and Janela's ex-girlfriend, Penelope Ford, on the entrance ramp. This distracted Janela long enough for him to miss his flying elbow drop. MJF wasted no time and capitalized. He hit Janela with the Double Cross and pinned him.

MJF took to the mic after the match and called out Cody. Cody didn't take this and came down to the ring to meet MJF. According to the stipulation for that match, Cody could not touch MJF which is something MJF readily pointed out. MJF then offered Cody the mic and dropped it before disrespectfully kicking it away.
Cody took the mic as MJF made his way up the ramp. The Young Bucks made their way up the ramp behind MJF and hit him with a double superkick. They then proceeded to toss MJF into the swimming pool.
Jon Moxley vs PAC (#1 contender's match for the AEW World Championship)
Jon Moxley came into the match with his right eye still taped up after Chris Jericho's attack on last week's episode of Dynamite. Moxley got the better of the early exchanges after the two men locked up. Moxley laid into PAC with knife-edge chops before he followed it up with a release German Suplex.
PAC started working on Moxley's injured eye, running his boot across Moxley's face before hitting him with crossface chops. PAC then tossed Moxley out of the ring and then sent him face-first into the edge of the ring. Moxley and PAC then fought through the crowd towards the bar area and then up the stairs.
PAC fell down the stairs while coming back down and the duo then fought back down to ringside area. Back in the area, Moxley hit PAC with clothesline. taking him down. PAC tried to go after Moxley's eye once again but Moxley dodged it and hit a release vertical suplex.
PAC found an opening for himself by going after Moxley's injured eye once again, catching him with repeated kicks to the face. PAC headed to the top rope after this and went for a 450. Moxley got his knees up but PAC followed it up with a German Suplex of his own. PAC headed to the top rope once again after this, going for the Black Arrow, but he ate the mat after Moxley moved away.
Moxley hit a DDT out of nowhere after this but PAC kicked out at the last second. PAC hit back with a superplex from the top rope and followed it up by locking in the Brutalizer. Moxley somehow maneuvered himself around and reached the bottom rope. PAC went after Moxley's eye once again after this but Moxley caught PAC unaware and hit him with a Paradigm Shift for the win. Moxley will now challenge Jericho for the AEW World Championship at AEW Revolution in February.
