MJF calls out Cody
MJF was out next and his heavy Wardlow wasn't far behind. MJF made his way down to the ring and took the mic. Instead of going straight for Cody, MJF called one of the ring hands into the ring and admonished him for laughing at him last week. MJF forced the guy to kiss his ring before hitting him with the Double Cross.
After this, MJF turned his attention to his former best friend. MJF called Cody out for taking shots at him last week and calling him a "knockoff Chris Jericho". MJF finally agreed to wrestle Cody but added that he would only reveal the stipulation he wanted on the 1st Jan episode of Dynamite.
Big Swole vs Emi Sakura
Big Swole was in action next, taking on Emi Sakura after securing her AEW contract earlier this week. Swole looked to impress but Sakura totally dominated the early stages of the match including her patented Romero Special. Every time Swole tried to go on the front foot, Sakura saw her coming and stopped her in her tracks.
As the match went on, Swole started getting more offense in including a great spot with Sakura's mic stand followed by a Spear. The finish saw Big Swole hit Sakura with the Dirty Dancing to pick up a massive win.
