Hangman Page and Kip Sabian started the match off with Sabian trying to pound his much larger opponent into submission. Page booted Sabian away before throwing Spears out of the ring. Page then tagged Kenny Omega in and both men dished out a series of knife-edged chops to Kip Sabian.

The heels finally managed to blindside Hangman Page and isolate him in their corner. Sabian pulled Page out of the ring at one point, but the Hangman dodged an attempted clothesline and rolled back into the ring to tag in Kenny Omega. Omega took out both Kip Sabian and Shawn Spears, sending them rolling out to ringside, before looking to hit a dive. Penelope Ford got on the apron at this point to stop Omega in his tracks. This gave the heels an opening as Shawn Spears blindsided Omega with a backstabber. Penelope Ford got involved at ringside, hitting Page with a hurricanrana.

Spears had the referee distracted at this point as Sabian and Ford unloaded on Omega. The lights went out soon after this and we saw Tully Blanchard tied up on the entrance ramp. This was Joey Janela's handiwork and Shawn Spears left the ring to save his mentor.

Omega and Page made short work of Kip Sabian after this. Page pinned Omega after hitting him with the Buckshot Lariat.
