Despite the size difference, Sammy Guevara made a stellar start to the match. Guevara used his speed to avoid Luchasaurus' offense and get in some shots of his own. This was until Luchasaurus booted Guevara out of the ring. Luchasaurus followed Guevara out and hit him with chops at ringside before rolling him back in. Guevara replied with a boot while Luchasaurus was trying to get back in the ring.

Guevara followed it up with a dive over the top rope before going and getting his phone to record for his vlog. This gave Lucasaurus an opening and the big man took it with both hands. The big man went for a chokeslam but Guevara broke free and hit back with a series of boots. Luchasaurus hit back with a superkick. Guevara replied with a Tornado DDT before heading to the top rope. Guevara missed his moonsault but landed on his feet. Luchasaurus caught him by the throat and planted him face-first into the mat for the win.

Jericho and Jake Hager, who were sitting at the commentary booth, ran down to the ring. Jungle Boy briefly pinned Jericho while Marko Stunt did the unofficial 3-count.
