It looked like MJF would start the match off against DDP but after typical theatrics from MJF, he ended up starting the match against QT Marshall. MJF poked Marshall in the eye early on and tagged in The Blade who hit Marshall with chops before QT took him down with a crossbody and tagged in Dustin Rhodes.

Rhodes looked to be in great form as he went low and hit The Blade with a right hand. Blade ended up dumping Rhodes out of the ring and distracted the referee. The Bunny aka Allie slapped Dustin Rhodes at ringside before Wardlow blindsided him and took him out.

The Butcher tagged himself in after this hit a stalling suplex before MJF came in again. MJF stepped on Rhodes hand before isolating him in the corner. Rhodes finally tagged in DDP who was making his in-ring debut in AEW. He cleared the ring and finally had MJF to himself. MJF hit a low blow to DDP before Dustin Rhodes hit him with a Canadian Destroyer. DDP followed it up with the Diamond Cutter but The Blade broke up the cover. QT Marshall then hit the QT special out to ringside before DDP leapt off the top rope wiping everyone out.

MJF used the commotion to his advantage, rolling QT Marshall up to sneak a win for his team.
