Soon after losing his hair at WrestleMania 23, Mr. McMahon exacted revenge on Bobby Lashley at Backlash. On the May 8, 2007, episode of ECW, McMahon decided to target a popular fan-favorite in Rob Van Dam. Vince, Umaga and Shane McMahon destroyed RVD in quick fashion, with Vince getting the pin over the former WWE Champion in the end.

After his return to Impact Wrestling last year, Rob Van Dam is still a mainstay in the promotion. In October 2019, he turned heel for the first time in 18 years, during the Bound for Glory PPV.
The trio of Vince McMahon, Umaga and Shane took on Bobby Lashley at Backlash 2007, with the latter's ECW title on the line. A Samoan Drop ended things for Lashley, as McMahon pinned him and won the ECW title. Lashley left WWE months later.

Lashley loses the ECW title:
He returned to the promotion in 2018 and is currently wrestling on WWE RAW. Lashley formed an alliance with Lana last year, leading to their on-screen marriage. At present, Lashley seems to be getting tired of being with Lana and it looks like a separation is on the horizon.
