Kharma in the midst of her heel storyline

After welcoming back Prodigal Sons in the Dudley Boyz and AJ Styles, a Prodigal Daughter might be walking back into the WWE’s arms. Kia Stevens, better known as Kharma in the WWE, could be the latest addition to the roster.

Stevens joined the WWE in 2010 after a successful couple of years in TNA, where she performed under the name Awesome Kong. She left the WWE in 2012 and spent three years on the indy circuit before returning to TNA. Her good fortune was short-lived when she physically assaulted Matt Hardy’s wife Rebecca and was released immediately, halfway through TNA’s UK tour.

Stevens recently posted her old WWE promo videos on her Instagram account, hinting that a comeback might be around the corner. Though there’s been nothing to suggest so, it isn’t impossible.

This isn’t the first incident of its kind involving Stevens, as she was embroiled in a similar imbroglio for assaulting radio show host Bubba the Love Sponge. In 2010 when she was still with TNA, Bubba earned her ire for allegedly making derogatory remarks about the Haiti earthquake relief project, for which Stevens was a crusader.

The controversy ended with Stevens being released. She would be signed by the WWE soon after, where her only appearance of note was in the 2012 Royal Rumble. Stevens is one of a trio of Divas to have entered the Rumble, the others being Chyna and Beth Phoenix,
