Pretty Deadly are the latest sensations to get added to the tag team division on WWE SmackDown. The duo of Kit Wilson and Elton Prince and known for their flamboyant style and quirky wrestling gear. Their camaraderie on-screen has also sparked speculation regarding their personal lives.
Pretty Deadly are not a real-life couple. Kit Wilson and Elton Prince are dating fellow NXT stars, Stevie Turner and Kelly Kincaid, respectively. Turner used to compete in NXT UK before the brand folded. Kelly Kincaid, on the other hand, is a former Ring of Honor performer. She is now a backstage interviewer on WWE NXT.
It is worth mentioning that Kit Wilson is engaged to Stevie Turner. The couple announced their engagement via Instagram in March 2021. For those wondering, Stevie Turner got repackaged in Shawn Michaels’ NXT following her stint in NXT UK.
Pretty Deadly happen to be the second-longest reigning NXT UK Tag Team Champions. The duo dropped the titles to Mustache Mountain (Tyler Bate and Trent Seven) on the December 9, 2021, episode of NXT UK. The loss marked an end to their tag team title reign at 287 days.
Wilson and Prince would soon make their presence felt in NXT. The duo showed up on the April 5, 2022, episode of WWE NXT by attacking the Creed Brothers. They won the NXT Tag Team Championship in a Gauntlet Match on the following episode of NXT.
Pretty Deadly win their debut match on WWE SmackDown
Wilson and Prince were moved to SmackDown full-time as part of the WWE Draft 2023. The duo made their main roster in-ring debut against The Brawling Brutes (Butch and Ridge Holland) on the May 19, 2023, episode of the blue brand. Sheamus was on commentary for the match.
The two teams put on a solid performance for the crowd in attendance and for fans watching at home. The closing moments of the match saw Wilson and Prince use controversial tactics to hit their finisher on Ridge Holland, winning the match in the process.
It remains to be seen what’s in store for the young team on the main roster.
