Did James Ellsworth interfering on Carmella’s behalf give her the heel heat she desperately needed, or did it ruin what could have been a historic match for the women? We cannot make up our minds really.
Regardless, it’s not surprising that The Princess Of Staten Island came out victorious, as we had reported earlier that WWE officials are very high on Carmella. She was set to win the SmackDown Women's Championship at WrestleMania 33, but that was changed in favour of Naomi. Triple H is said to be a huge supporter of Carmella and sees a lot of potential in her as a singles star.
