The WWE Network is full of weekly series that are sure to fulfill your pro wrestling needs

The WWE Network features a vast array of wrestling content fit to satiate the appetite of any member of the WWE Universe. From anthologies to old PPVs to brand new original content, the company's subscription-based service has a little something for everybody.

In this brand new series, we'll be looking at some of the best shows to check out on the WWE Network each and every week. From the explosive action given to us every Wednesday, to the documentary style shows spread throughout the week, there's quite a lot to pick from on the company's streaming service.

This week, we begin our countdown with my favorite show on the WWE Network.

#5 205 Live: November 14th, 2018

Lio Rush found his first real challenge in trying to end the Age of Alexander
Lio Rush found his first real challenge in trying to end the Age of Alexander

If you haven't given 205 Live a chance yet, this would be the week to start. The Cruiserweights captivated a live audience with an action-packed show, which aired on November 14th. While the WWE Universe was treated to a fun opening tag match, pitting Drew Gulak & Jack Gallagher against the newly turned face The Brian Kendrick and his longtime rival Akira Tozawa, the real money lied in the main event.

After surviving on 205 Live for months without being pinned or submitted, Bobby Lashley's manager Lio Rush stepped up to face his greatest challenge yet; The Age of Alexander.

The Man of the Hour took on former Cruiserweight Champion Cedric Alexander who, at the time, was in the middle of a 3-match losing streak. Both Alexander and Rush possess incredible speed that makes them tough to keep up with, and watching the two of them attempt to outmaneuver and counter each other was fascinating.

205 Live always delivers with a stellar main event, and this week's episode was no exception. If you don't watch the cruiserweights on Wednesday nights and find yourself wondering what the big deal is regarding Lio Rush, you'll find your answer here.

As always, we cover the results of 205 Live each and every week here at Sportskeeda!

#4 WWE Ride Along The EC Expressway

Edge and Christian wanted to emphasize just how old they've gotten in this episode of Ride Along
Edge and Christian wanted to emphasize just how old they've gotten in this episode of Ride Along

WWE's Ride Along series gives us an inside look at the real personalities of its Superstars, management, and legends each and every week. From The New Day to The Club to The Shield, we've seen some pretty surprising moments on the show.

On this week's edition, we followed Edge and Christian and The Riott Squad.

Edge and Christian had just wrapped up filming the latest episode of their show. The former tag team champions discussed their favorite rock singers, gave a sneak peek into the second season of the Edge and Christian Show that Totally Reeks of Awesomeness, and went over their different career paths post-tag team breakup.

In the other car, The Riott Squad was given a not so great tour of New Jersey by Liv Morgan. Morgan, Riott, and Logan also discussed the differences between themselves and Absolution, the group who debuted a day before them back near the end of 2017.

The WWE Universe also found out how terrible a driver Morgan is, and we here at Sportskeeda express our deepest sympathies to both Ruby Riott and Sarah Logan for having to deal with that.

#3 NXT UK: November 14th, 2018

Who can stop the monstrous trio of Wolfgang and the Coffey Brothers?!
Who can stop the monstrous trio of Wolfgang and the Coffey Brothers?!

At WWE Evolution, NXT UK's Women's Championship was originally supposed to be defended. However, as the tapings hadn't yet caught up in time, the match had to be axed from the final card.

This week, NXT UK finally caught up to that point, with Johnny Saint and Triple H introducing the NXT UK Women's Championship while announcing the tournament to determine the first champion. The first two matches of the tournament saw Dakota Kai and Jinny advance, knocking out Nina Samuels and Millie McKenzie.

We also saw the continuing domination of Wolfgang and the Coffey Brothers, who have been on a rampage on NXT UK. At the end of the latest episode, All three men beat down Mustache Mountain, setting up a six-man tag in the future between the three behemoths vs British Strong Style.

Pete Dunne is scheduled to take part in the WarGames match at TakeOver, but it looks like he'll have some business to take care of in the U.K. once he's done.

#2 Marquee Matches: Survivor Series

Get ready for this Sunday's Survivor Series by reliving some of the greatest matches from the PPV's past
Get ready for this Sunday's Survivor Series by reliving some of the greatest matches from the PPV's past

Survivor Series is only a day away now, and the WWE has lined up some of the greatest matches in the PPV's history in order to get you ready. Throughout the week, the WWE gave its audience three matches from over the years.

Survivor Series 2007: HBK vs Randy Orton

Back in 2007, Randy Orton and Shawn Michaels were tied up in a heated rivalry over the WWE Championship. The Legend Killer thought he had eliminated the Heartbreak Kid earlier in the year, but the Showstopper proved that it would take more than one vicious assault from the arrogant youngster to put him down.

However, Michaels was banned from using his patented Sweet Chin Music during the bout and would have to find another way to overcome Orton and his RKO.

Survivor Series 2011: The Awesome Truth vs John Cena & The Rock

The Rock's first match back after his seven-year absence from the WWE took place at Survivor Series 2011, where the Great One teamed with his rival John Cena to face The Miz and R-Truth, known back then as the Awesome Truth. This bout was less about the havoc that The Miz and R-Truth had wreaked over the past few months and more about the enormous egos that clashed in The Rock and John Cena.

The past and present faces of the company had difficult times working together at this event, never really finding themselves on the same page. However, The Brahma Bull and the Leader of the Cenation managed to overcome their differences in order to put down the Awesome Truth for good.

Survivor Series 2017: AJ Styles vs Brock Lesnar

At last year's Survivor Series, Brock Lesnar and AJ Styles put on an incredible match. The top champions of the Raw and SmackDown brands respectively took each other to the limit in a near 20-minute bout.

Much to the surprise of those in attendance and those watching around the world, AJ Styles brought the fight to Lesnar, even nearly forcing the Beast Incarnate to tap out to the Calf Crusher. Survivor Series 2017 brought us, arguably, the best Brock Lesnar match we've seen since the Universal Champion made his return to the WWE back in 2012.

#1 NXT: November 14th, 2018

The Undisputed Era won an early battle ahead of their war at WarGames
The Undisputed Era won an early battle ahead of their war at WarGames

Wednesdays truly might be the best night of wrestling you'll find anywhere. Alongside 205 Live and NXT UK, the original NXT brand takes center stage every Wednesday night at 8 pm ET.

This week's edition of the Yellow and Black brand featured a fantastic women's matchup between the EST of NXT Bianca Belair and the company's recent signing Mia Yim. The blue haired vet put on an incredible performance against Belair, who came into the match undefeated on NXT TV. Belair's brute strength and encapsulating charisma have really caught on with the crowd at Full Sail University.

NXT managed to bookend its go-home show this week, opening with Yim/Belair and closing with a hard-hitting main event that would have serious repercussions come NXT TakeOver: WarGames II. Undisputed Era's Kyle O'Reilly went up against War Raider Hanson in order to find out which team would receive the advantage in their War Games match this Saturday.

Kyle O'Reilly's speed and striking ability played a big part in this match, as he spent the majority of it attempting to chop down the massive Hanson. It was brutal, devastating, and exactly what we needed to see to get us amped up for this weekend's TakeOver event.

Check out the full results of this week's NXT here.

Tonight, the Undisputed Era will face off against the War Raiders, Pete Dunne, and Ricochet in order to keep their grasp around the brand. If you haven't given NXT much of a chance in the past, NXT TakeOver: WarGames II might be a good place for you to start!
