In a bizarre turn of events, WWE Superstar Paige was arrested last night, shortly after the Money in the Bank PPV. Paige was reportedly involved in a domestic violence incident with her new boyfriend Alberto Del Rio, and was subsequently arrested for it.
A fan at the scene has captured the following photos of Paige getting arrested after a big quarrel with Alberto Del Rio. He tweeted the below on the incident.
As can be seen, both Paige and Del Rio are clearly visible in the pics. Though there is no information on what the quarrel was about, Paige's arrest is clearly documented with these pics.
It is to be noted that Paige and Del Rio started dating after the new season details for Total Divas were announced. Paige’s relationship with Del Rio has been questioned by a lot of WWE fans. Some have even gone as far as to suggest the whole thing is a set up for Total Divas, as Del Rio is already married. With the legitimacy of their relationship questioned, some even believe that these scenes were also set up for Total Divas.
Though there is no confirmation yet on the arrest, this could be a huge setback for the ‘Anti-Diva’ in regards to her position in the main roster. If we recall, Emma landed in a similar bad situation with the WWE and suffered a major spanner in her career.
