Chris Jericho on his original WrestleMania plans and more

Chris Jericho

In his latest interview, Chris Jericho revealed that he had several plans for WrestleMania 29. Initially, he considered a mixed tag team match for the super show. Before he left for his Australia tour, he was also considered for a heel turn and a fight against Ryback. But after he came back, Eric Pankowski gave him the news that he will be facing the debutant Fandango as a babyface.

Jericho wasn’t too happy with the change in plans. But after how the things spanned out during last few weeks, he is up and ready for it now. He is expected to be away from wrestling from April 13th to 28th, when he will be touring with Fozzy. He returned under a deal, only for WrestleMania. He mentioned that he would like to work for WWE when other projects aren’t going on. He signed his deal with Triple H instead of Vince McMahon this time round.

He also went on to speak about last week’s NXT TV tapings, specifying his willingness to work with Bray Wyatt. He loved his style and his new gimmick. He predicted that Bray will a star to watch out for in the coming years. He was all praise for Adrian Neville, the former Pac, for his match against Antonio Cesaro. Jericho also feels that NXT Diva Emma would get over very well on the main roster with her dancing gimmick.
