Drew McIntyre will be facing Randy Orton at Clash of Champions in an Ambulance match. The WWE Championship will be on the line as The Viper will look to end McIntyre's long run as the top Champion at Clash of Champions.
As per Dave Meltzer of WON, the chances of Randy Orton walking out as the new WWE Champion are very high. The reason why WWE chose a gimmick match between the two was for the sole purpose of protecting McIntyre from taking a pin at the hands of Orton.
In addition, there was at least talk that the planned Orton vs. Edge match at WrestleMania this coming year would be for the title. The one thing the ambulance match does is it allows them to protect McIntyre from taking a pin while getting the title off him.
McIntyre has done a great on as the WWE Champion but it looks like Randy Orton will become a 14-time World Champion at Clash of Champions.
