Cody Rhodes' wiseman debuts; potential reunion - 7 WWE legends confirmed for WWE Bad Blood 2024

On October 5, 2024, the Bad Blood Premium Live Event will return for the first time in 20 years. The last time this PLE took place in 2004, fans witnessed some thrilling action and a fantastic Hell in a Cell match between Triple H and Shawn Michaels in the main event.

Similarly, The Game, who is now WWE's CCO and Creative Head, has booked a brilliant card for Bad Blood 2024. However, apart from witnessing some good action at the premium live event, the WWE Universe will also be treated to the returns of legendary wrestling figures.

As per reports, seven legends are confirmed to make an appearance at Bad Blood, and one legend out of these seven could end up being Cody Rhodes' Wiseman. In this article, we will look at that particular legend and the others who are set to appear:

#7. Diamond Dallas Page

On October 5, at the State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia, Diamond Dallas Page is one of the massive names likely to appear. Inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame by Eric Bischoff in 2017, Dallas Page is a two-time champion in WWE. The former WWF European Champion experienced the biggest success of his career in WCW.

Page won the WCW World Heavyweight Championship three times, among other championships. Overall, in his career, he did everything to cement his legacy, and it will be interesting to see the reception he gets in Georgia.

#6. The Steiner Brothers

Scott Steiner and Rick Steiner, popularly known as The Steiner Brothers, are also expected to make an appearance at Bad Blood. Back in the day, The Steiner Brothers were a force to be reckoned with, and they experienced tremendous success during their time at WCW and later WWE.

In 2022, the duo was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame for their contributions. Given Rick's son and Scott's nephew, Bron Breakker, is an active superstar on RAW, it will be interesting to see if they share a segment with him at Bad Blood.

#5. Alundra Blayze

It would be safe to say between 1993 and 1995, Alundra Blayze was the face of the women's division in WWE (then WWF). Blayze entered the company and won a six-woman tournament to become the Women's Champion. This title is something Blayze won on two more occasions during her time with the company.

In 2015, Alundra Blayze was inducted into the Hall of Fame, and three years later, she competed after 18 years in a battle royal at WWE Evolution in 2018. While Blayze did not have success at the event, two years later, in 2019, she won the 24/7 Championship. The accomplished wrestler is expected to make an appearance at Bad Blood 2024.

#4. Jacqueline

Apart from Alundra Blayze, Jacqueline Moore, popularly known as Jacqueline, will be another legendary female wrestler present at Bad Blood. Like Blayze, Jacqueline also wrestled for WWE and WCW, but she had the best time of her career in the Stamford-based promotion.

In WWE, Jacqueline became the Women's Champion on two occasions, and she also won the WWE Cruiserweight Championship. It's worth noting that the legendary superstar was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2016.

#3. Tully Blanchard

Tully Blanchard is another legendary name who is set to appear at Bad Blood 2024. A legendary figure in professional wrestling, Blanchard, apart from WWE, wrestled in various popular promotions and was most known for being part of the faction The Four Horsemen.

In 2012, Blanchard was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame as a member of The Four Horsemen. A one-time tag team champion in the Stamford-based promotion, Blanchard was also part of All Elite Wrestling between 2019 and 2022.

#2. Arn Anderson becomes Cody's Wiseman

At Bad Blood 2024, reports suggest Arn Anderson is also booked to appear. This appearance from the wrestling legend and Tully Blanchard's partner could very well lead to him becoming Cody Rhodes' Wiseman. For those unaware, when Rhodes was in AEW, Anderson served as his manager.

Later, when The American Nightmare came to WWE, Anderson was seen speaking to Rhodes ahead of his match against Solo Sikoa at SummerSlam 2024. Since Rhodes will once again team up with Roman Reigns to face Sikoa and Jacob Fatu, it won't be surprising to see Anderson reunite with Rhodes and help him.

#1. WCW reunion

The one common thing about all the seven legends set to appear at Bad Blood is the fact that they all worked in WCW. At the upcoming PLE, WWE can look to do a WCW reunion between these legends since Atlanta was more or less a mini-home to World Championship Wrestling.

Even though WCW does not exist today, professional wrestling fans still have fond memories of the promotion, and hence, a reunion would be cool to watch. It will be interesting to see what happens on October 5, at the State Farm Arena in Atlanta.
