As far as statistics are concerned, Edge is the best all-round performer in WWE history.

Excellent on the microphone and great in the ring, Edge can be considered as a legend in both the tag team division as well as in the singles division of the company. Praised by one and all to be the ultimate ring general, Edge is regarded to be the absolute best when it comes to laying out matches in the ring.

Edge's WWE career started out in 1999 and just two years after being with the company, he had already notched up enough accomplishments to be hailed as one of the greatest tag team wrestlers of all time.

A seven time tag champion with his regular partner Christian, Edge would be on the winning side of the first three TLC matches that are still talked about today.

After E&C broke up, Edge successfully made a transition in to a singles career, winning the Intercontinental and United States titles. But before starting his Rated R Superstar persona and foraying to the singles main event, Edge would win tag titles four more times with the likes of Hulk Hogan, Chris Benoit (2) and Rey Mysterio.

After winning his first WWE Championship in 2005, Edge's tag team title collection took a back seat, with the Ultimate Opportunist winning an incredible 12 World/WWE Championships in the company.

He would have a WrestleMania headlining rivalry with the Undertaker, had gruelling matches with Batista, John Cena, Triple H and Jeff Hardy.

It is a testament to Edge's post 2005 singles career that his legendary tag team career often became a footnote while rating his accomplishments. Edge would still win three more tag titles after his first WWE Championship victory - the first was alongside Randy Orton during their time as 'Rated RKO'.

In 2009, Edge took a break from the World Heavyweight title scene which he had made his own, instead winning the Unified tag team titles with Chris Jericho.

An achilles tendon injury would end that reign, with Edge returning the next year to win the Royal Rumble and continue his pursuit of the World Heavyweight title.

All in all, Edge has won 14 tag titles with the WWE which is higher than any one who has ever stepped foot inside a WWE ring. He is the only wrestler to win 10 or more world titles and world tag team titles (each) in the company.
