Early problems for Team Angle
This match would likely be the main event, unless we get the Undertaker vs Shawn Michaels on this show. Either way, this match should be given a huge chunk of time. Enough time to make this a memorable one. We get fast-paced action right from the start, with the Shield and the Dogs of War continuing their intense rivalry. It would normally be hard to pick two guys to be the first ones eliminated but here, they both make sense.
Dolph Ziggler has been branded as the weak link of the Dogs of War for weeks now. He lost the match for his stable at Super Showdown and honestly is riding on the coattails of his much stronger partners, Drew McIntyre and Braun Strowman. Further tension can be built between Ziggler and McIntyre when the Showoff is eliminated early on in the match and thus putting Team Corbin into an early disadvantage.
Similarly, Dean Ambrose is currently in limbo as he walked out on his brothers at the end of Raw. His heel turn has been heavily teased and has become somewhat obvious. While he absolutely should turn heel, it should not happen anytime soon. However, WWE could always plant seeds for the eventual breaking point. After some miscommunication involving Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns, Ambrose is the first person on Team Angle who is eliminated.
After leveling it up again, we get a stalemate for up to five minutes. After that, the Monster is woken. Braun Strowman goes on a massive tear, running through every face in sight. Like his dominance at last year's Survivor Series, he quickly eliminates both Finn Balor and Seth Rollins to completely turn the odds completely in the favor of Team Corbin. The only two men remaining on Angle's team are Roman Reigns and himself, as they have to take on four men to win this match.
