WWE Superstar Jey Uso will be entering a King of the Ring qualifying match on next week’s episode of RAW. The Yeet Master was formerly the unannounced participant of the Fatal Four-Way match involving Rusev, Sheamus, and Bronson Reed. Interestingly, there is a chance that the OG Bloodline member could be replaced by Drew McIntyre on the Monday night show.

Drew McIntyre is currently away from TV after losing his steel cage match to Damian Priest at Saturday Night’s Main Event XXXIX. Before getting into a feud with The Punisher, The Scottish Psychopath was hunting down members of The OG Bloodline ahead of Royal Rumble 2025. During this time, he had ambushed Jey Uso backstage and put him out of commission for some time.

Now that McIntyre’s business with Priest is over, he could go back to targeting The OG Bloodline. After attacking The Yeet Master, the former WWE Champion could replace him in the upcoming KOTR qualifier.

If this happens, The Scottish Warrior could get back on the path to taking the World Heavyweight Championship back. Moreover, if McIntyre ambushed and took the spot of the previous titleholder, it would be a powerful statement to begin his KOTR journey. While this is a big possibility, it is just speculation as of now.

Jey Uso’s time in the World Heavyweight Championship scene may be up

Jey Uso lost the World Heavyweight Championship on this week’s episode of RAW to Gunther. While the loss ended his world title run at a mere 51 days, it could also be the last time Mr. Yeet held the gold. Although WWE tried to build Main Event Jey as a main event star, it could only get the job half done by creating a lively fandom and the Yeet Movement around him.

In the ring, Jey Uso arguably still suffered and was seen as an upper mid-card talent at best. The drop in RAW’s viewership on Netflix was significant proof of this. Moreover, with a long line of contemporaries who deserve the World Heavyweight Championship, The Yeet Master may not get to hold the title again anytime soon.

This list includes Drew McIntyre, CM Punk, Damian Priest, Sami Zayn, and many more. Problems had started for Jey Uso from the very day he dethroned Gunther at WrestleMania 41, when he made The Ring General tap out to a sleeper hold. This resulted in massive fan backlash, as a loss in this fashion for the Austrian at the hands of Uso was very unbelievable.

Lastly, his run as the World Heavyweight Champion seemed to elevate others like Sami Zayn, CM Punk, and Cody Rhodes around him without benefiting him at all. Thus, chances are that Jey Uso may be pushed back into the affairs of The Bloodline, or he may remain a mid-card singles talent on RAW. It will be interesting to see what lies ahead for The Yeet Master.
