What’s the story?

Jason Jordan, who recently suffered an injury, is still being advertised for tonight’s episode of WWE RAW and is expected to perform at the Royal Rumble PPV.

Jordan didn’t perform at the WWE’s live events over the past couple of weeks and is dealing with undisclosed injury issues.

In case you didn’t know…

Following Shield member Dean Ambrose’s arm injury a few weeks ago, Jason Jordan replaced him as Seth Rollins' tag team partner.

Rollins and Jordan went on to capture the RAW Tag Team Championships and were expected to defend them against The Bar (Sheamus & Cesaro) in the days that followed.

The heart of the matter

One ought to note that over the past couple of weeks, the WWE’s RAW-branded live events have largely seen WWE Intercontinental Champion Roman Reigns & RAW Tag Team titlist Seth Rollins compete in 3-on-2 Handicap matches against The Miz, Bo Dallas & Curtis Axel.

Furthermore, neither the WWE nor Jason Jordan have explained the nature of his injuries as of yet. Nevertheless, Jordan is being advertised for tonight’s episode of RAW 25.

In fact, the WWE is also advertising Seth Rollins & Jason Jordan vs. Sheamus & Cesaro with the RAW Tag Team Championships on the line; for the Royal Rumble PPV.

What’s next?

Fans can expect Jason Jordan to appear on tonight’s milestone edition of RAW.

Jordan is also believed to be fit enough so as to compete in the aforementioned Tag Team Championship matchup at the Royal Rumble PPV which will take place on January 28th.

Author’s take

Honestly speaking, Jason Jordan is one of the most talented athletes in the WWE today.

Although his character seems to garner nuclear heat from the fans, Jordan deserves credit for taking fan backlash in his stride. Here’s hoping Jordan returns at a hundred percent ahead of his important Tag Team title match at the Royal Rumble.
