From the WWE Rumor Mill: Possible WWE return date of Ric Flair revealed?

St
Stylin' and profilin', "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair has been involved in pro wrestling since 1972...

What's the story?

According to this story, Ric Flair's first appearance since surgery in August would take place in Atlanta, Georgia at a fan fest on November 18th. However, taking a look at the WWE schedule, one item stood out.

Just a few days before the Heroes & Villains Fan Fest, Monday Night Raw is in Atlanta, Georgia.

In case you didn't know...

Paramedics rushed Flair to a hospital in Georgia. Doctors determined that he had to have an emergency surgery, but the reasons were not disclosed.

Flair admitted that alcohol could be a factor for his health problems and has decided to stay sober going forward.

The heart of the matter

He is currently recovering in Atlanta; where he had the emergency surgery. One would assume that doctors have cleared him for these meet and greet appearances like the one announced on November 18th.

Considering Monday Night Raw is just a few days before the fan fest, is it possible that Ric will make a quick appearance to thank the fans for their support as he was fighting for his life in August?

Flair continues to show that he's getting better day by day on social media, and with everything being in the Atlanta area, travel is kept to a minimum. The pieces seem to fit together for a possible return to the WWE here as long as Flair is healthy enough for it.

Author's take

As I was writing the article on Flair's first appearance post-surgery, I discovered that coincidence on WWE.com's live events calendar. I think the likelihood of Flair showing up on that Raw to thank the WWE Universe is very high, as long as he is feeling healthy enough for the appearance.

It would definitely become one of those feel-good moments of the year. You could definitely expect Flair, and probably myself, to shed a tear.
