From worst-to-first: Ranking the newest main roster call-ups from NXT

<p>
Andrade "Cien" Almas and Zelina Vega have joined the SmackDown Live roster

Another WrestleMania is in the books and with the conclusion of WrestleMania season, there has been yet another WWE Superstar Shake-up. Superstars from RAW and SmackDown Live have once again been shuffled around and some of the top stars of NXT have also been called up to join one of the main rosters.

Today we will take an in-depth look at all of the recent NXT Superstars who were called up to the main roster and we will rank their potential from worst-to-first.

Here's a look at where the recent NXT call-ups landed and how they rank from top to bottom.

#7 No Way Jose - RAW

Lots of energy...very minimal experience

It was just a couple of years ago when independent wrestling fans witnessed the uprising of a new star named Manny Garcia. Manny had surged to the top of the CWF Mid-Atlantic roster and had even started working several events for OMEGA Wrestling, which is also based out of North Carolina.

For someone with very little professional experience, Manny had a ton of fan-fare to help hold him up.

After making his in-ring debut with NXT, No Way Jose quickly became a fan favorite with the Full Sail faithful. However, I have to question his readiness at this point. Is he fully prepared for the next level? For his sake, I truly hope so. But, I'm still not convinced that the Adam Rose style will get him over with the WWE Universe.

#6 The IIconics - SmackDown Live

Billie Kay and Peyton Royce join an already stacked Women's Division.

They are the hottest duo from Down Under and now they are Superstars of the SmackDown Live roster.

Both Billie Kay and Peyton Royce are products of Australia, both were also initially noticed by WWE officials during the 2014 WWE tryouts that were held in Australia. Once they arrived in NXT, it was simply a matter of fate that they were to be paired together.

Kay and Royce bring a new Bella-ish element to the main roster. They both have excelled at a much faster rate than anyone could've ever predicted. But then again, considering the fact that they both cut their teeth in top indie promotions such as Shimmer and Shine before making it to the WWE, they are certainly battle-tested and ready for whatever comes their way.

Just as with anyone else who was recently elevated to the main roster, time will be the ultimate judge as far as how far The IIconics will go. As far as I'm concerned, their limits will only be restricted by their efforts. If they want to make it to the top, they definitely will.

#5 SAnitY - SmackDown Live

Things are about to get intense on the SmackDown roster.

When it comes to all of the names mentioned on this list, SAnitY is my darkhorse. Despite the amount of talent that these three Superstars share, there are still a lot of people who are sleeping on them. It will only be a matter of time until everyone realizes just how dangerously good these guys really are.

Eric Young is undoubtedly the leader of the faction, with Killian Dain serving as the monstrous muscle and Alexander Wolfe being the only question mark in most fans minds.

The reason Wolfe is questionable is that a lot of people simply do not know much about him. Until recently, I didn't know much about him myself. However, after a minimal amount of research, I am confident that he will do just fine.

Enjoy this run we have with SAnity because it will only be a matter of time until all 3 men go their own separate ways.

There are many who believe Killian Dain has the potential to be on the same level as some of the other top big guys, such as Braun Strowman. Meanwhile, Eric Young has a history of winning singles titles and has always been the type to march to the beat of his own drum.

#4 Ember Moon - RAW

Ember Moon could be in the title hunt very soon!

Ember Moon shocked the world when Nia Jax made the announcement on RAW that Moon would be joining her as the mystery partner for the main event that night.

Moon joins the main roster with a deep-rooted history of success. She has won championships any and everywhere she has ever landed.

The Texas native is a product of Booker T's Reality of Wrestling, which is where she received her professional wrestling training. Since making her professional debut in 2007, Ember has been improving at a rapid rate.

After dropping her NXT Women's Championship to Shayna Baszler at NXT Takeover: New Orleans, it was only a matter of hours before she would join the RAW roster and now she is in the perfect position to make a run directly to the top.

#3 Authors of Pain - RAW

Ente
AOP has arrived and served notice on the RAW roster!

They are big, they are nasty and they are relentless. They are Akam and Rezar and together, they create The Authors of Pain.

Under the tutelage of Hall of Fame manager Paul Ellering, The Authors of Pain went from mediocrity to NXT Tag Team Champions.

Making the jump to the main roster came as no surprise, but what did shock the WWE Universe was the fact that they dropped their manager at the conclusion of their main roster debut, leaving Paul Ellering at the end of the entrance ramp.

While this came as a huge surprise to most of us, it's obvious that Ellering probably wanted to go back to his slower lifestyle, as opposed to jumping back into the grind that comes with being a WWE Superstar.

Only time will tell if these guys can survive without Ellering. Personally, I would have loved to have seen this team remain intact, with Ellering in the corner. But with that said, Akam and Rezar are perfectly capable of carrying their own load. This duo will be just fine.

#2 Andrade "Cien" Almas w/Vega - SmackDown Live

Enter
Almas brings a ton of great experience to the Smackdown roster.

For those who follow Mexican professional wrestling, you are probably well aware of the name "La Sombra". Prior to ever signing with the company, Almas was a huge name in the Mexican Lucha Libre scene.

Winning literally dozens of championships with top promotions such as CMLL, Andrade was very much prepared for the challenge at hand when he signed his WWE contract.

It didn't take long until he made his way to the top of the NXT roster, thus winning the NXT Championship. During his time as NXT Champion, everyone finally took notice that this one was for real.

Almas was a tremendous move for the SmackDown Live roster. With the dangerously beautiful Zelina Vega in his corner, Andrade is poised for a run straight to the top. I would not be at all surprised if Almas is challenging for the WWE Championship in a matter of mere months.

#1 Drew McIntyre - RAW

Ente
The Prodigal son has returned...

One of the biggest mistakes of the past decade was the departure of Drew McIntyre. Once dubbed as "The Chosen One" by Vince McMahon himself, Drew somehow went from potential top-guy to the third leg of 3MB.

When Drew left the company, there were some who speculated that he would never recover from the position he was in. However, what he did would shock the world and eventually cause WWE officials to second guess their initial call.

Drew was released by WWE in 2014 and from there, he would go on a global takeover tour. McIntyre would jump from country-to-country, winning world titles everywhere he was booked.

From ICW to Impact Wrestling, Drew had become a global Superstar and eventually, the powers that be in Stamford would have no choice but to call him back and beg for another chance.

Since returning to the company, Drew McIntyre immediately dominated everyone in NXT and is now ready for his new opportunity to prove his worth as a main roster WWE Superstar.
