#3 TJ Perkins (c) vs Brian Kendrick - Cruiserweight Championship
Perpetual #1 contender, Brian Kendrick is once again getting a “last chance” at the Cruiserweight title.
I’ve lost count on how many shots he’s gotten but he must have a bunch of extra lives (heh) to keep restarting (hehehe) his MyCareer (haaaaaaaaaaaa!) and keep bumping the entire division out of contention. Meaning we haven’t moved forward at all since day one of Raw’s Cruiserweight Division.
TJP is a great talent, but he shouldn’t have won the CWC and his weaknesses are showing now that he’s the focal point of the division. He has already worn out every base video game reference possible that it’s just kind of grating, now, but I guess that’s easy to do. I just did it in the last paragraph.
Kendrick has to win, I guess. Probably by foul play. He’s playing the “desperation” angle too hard to just lose so he’ll sneak out a win and TJ will get 30 rematches and we’ll never learn a damn thing about anyone else in the division.
