Shane McMahon is set to face Kevin Owens at the Biggest Party of the Summer. Although Shane wasn't present on SmackDown Live this week, his buddy Drew McIntyre confronted the Prizefighter.

While Owens opened the show, The Scottish Psychopath would interrupt him and said that he would be facing KO that night. He then attacked the former Universal Champion to round off a good segment.

Considering Owens and McIntyre are exceptional performers, they delivered an excellent match that had the crowd up on their feet. Though the Scottish Psychopath came close to pinning KO, the latter had the last laugh.

Owens will gain a significant momentum after pinning McIntyre and heading into The Biggest Party Of The Summer. However, it was a clean loss for McIntyre and that won't do the former NXT Champion any good.

Earlier, McIntyre and Elias were scheduled to face Xavier Woods & Big E but the match was scrapped. A victory over the SmackDown Tag Team Champions could have allowed them to become challengers for the titles at SummerSlam.

We are less than two weeks away from SummerSlam, but McIntyre still doesn't have an opponent for the show.
